5 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari

Here on a four days adventure, you will visit Tarangire National Park, the great Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Trust us when we tell you that this is one of the most spectacular and memorable safari experiences you’ll ever have.

Important Note: We can help you organize an ideal wildlife safari to match your personal needs.

Day 1

Arrival Day – Meet and greet at Kilimanjaro Int’l Airport to your Hotel

Fly to Kilimanjaro Int’l Airport, JRO, in Tanzania and meet one of our staff members who will pick you up and take you to your booked hotel/lodge, as well as enlighten you on your upcoming safari.

We hope you enjoy your stay here and that your safari with Lango Africa will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Karatu

After breakfast, at around 6:00 a.m., your driver guide will arrive at the hotel and pick you up, ready to take you to Tarangire National Park. It takes about 3 hours to get to the Tarangire gate. Tarangire, often known as the Elephant Playground, has a lot to offer with its wonderful range of wildlife and large area.

Elephants make their habitat here in vast numbers. Other wildlife found here includes lions, buffalo, gazelles, zebras, and gnus. Expect to encounter many different species, including giraffes grazing from the beautiful acacia branches and zebras and gazelles huddling. When we’re lucky, we can see a pride of lions lounging under trees, and if we’re very lucky, we can spot cheetahs, onyx, and kudu from the road.

So, what is it about Tarangire that distinguishes it?  Trust us when we tell you that there’re so many magical moments to encounter in Tarangire.  The agama male lizard, which changes colors right before your eyes as the temperature changes, will leave you stunned. Among many other interesting circumstances, the hyrax – an elephant-like creature also known as Pimbi – will illuminate your day.

Tarangire National Park is well-known for its majestic baobab trees, undulating grasslands, and acacia woodland. You’ll leave the park after a long game drive and a picnic lunch for Karatu, a small village in the great Ngorongoro highlands. You’ll spend the night at one of the Lodges here.

Day 3

Karatu – Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Following breakfast in the morning, you will depart for your next destination, Tanzania’s oldest and most famous Serengeti National Park. It can take up to 3 hours and 30 minutes to arrive before your game drive begins. The Serengeti, unlike many other places on the earth, is a one-of-a-kind ecosystem.

The stunning scenery, shifting light, and, of course, the diversity of animals that have made this their home will captivate you. With thousands of predators and hundreds of thousands of prey, it’s no surprise that there’s always something interesting going on in animal communities.

On today’s safari, you’re likely to see a lion, leopard, elephant, zebra, cheetah, and antelope, among many other species, while out on a game drive with your guide. You’ll be on your way back to your lodging for some well-deserved rest, a tasty dinner, and a good night’s sleep.

Day 4

Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you’ll go on a morning game drive in the stunning Serengeti, marveling at the wildlife. Because of its informative visitor center, the Seronera part of Central Serengeti is the most visited in the national park. Animals enjoy it as well. Because the Seronera River runs all year, there is always something to admire.

Several game drives are possible, which may unveil enormous pride of lions, hippopotami, or elephant herds (the park’s elephant population has lately increased). Depending on your interests, you might want to visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre, which provides an excellent overview of the park’s ecosystem as well as information on the region’s conservation history. Following lunch, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the southeast.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest full volcanic crater and the heart of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In this elephant sanctuary, you don’t want to miss out on anything. Just before the end of their lives, the giant male tuskers come to eat on the soft, swampland grasses on the side of the surrounding swampland known as the “elephant graveyard.”

There are approximately 120 lions with well-defined territories in the crater, as well as 15,000 gnus, 9,000 zebra, 400 hyenas, and approximately 50 black rhinos. Numerous gnus and other herd animals live here all year, making use of the numerous water sources that are present all year and are supplied by migrators during the mating season. Buffalo, Serval, jackal, Thomson’s gazelle, and eland are also plentiful. Hippos can be observed in ponds and marshes, and the highland wildlife is vibrant and abundant near water. Lake Magadi, which covers a portion of the crater floor, is inhabited by flamingos. After your morning game drive and lunch, you’ll have a 4-hour journey back to Arusha, covering 190.6 kilometers.
